About Karen
Karen has practised as a Person-Centred creative arts therapist, clinical supervisor and trainer for twenty years, working in a variety of settings nationally and internationally. Her specialist areas include working therapeutically with children and adults who have experienced childhood abuse. She is the adoptive mother of two children who have been affected by severe early years neglect and trauma within their birth family. Karen has used her professional and personal knowledge and experience to devise training packages to facilitate others in understanding and working therapeutically with the effects of attachment, trauma and abuse.
