with Karen Lake
This experiential one day workshop will focus on using creative techniques to support clients who have experienced abuse and trauma.
The day will include discussion and self reflection on the personal and professional challenges we can face when working with survivors of abuse. We will also explore creating external and internal safe spaces through ritual and visualization and through using metaphor and creative writing we will develop skills to help clients gain an aesthetic distance and a different perspective on their trauma.
