Comparative Study Day SORRY FULL

With Brian McMinn and Frances McDonnell

After an introduction to the day Brian and myself will each offer a therapy session lasting approx 30 mins. Following each session there will be time for the observers, clients and counsellors to discuss the experience, the theoretical approaches, and give feedback.

In the afternoon there will be two further sessions with more processing time.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a learning group witnessing and comparing two therapeutic approaches. A creative and unique event.

NB. If you are interested in being a client on the day, with issues you may wish to work on please contact me.

About Brian: I am a GPTI accredited Gestalt psychotherapist living and practising in Liverpool. Qualifying as a counsellor in 1994 I have practised in London, Wales, and in various locations in the Northwest of England. Originally, having trained in Person Centred counselling, I worked as a tutor and programme leader on Person Centred courses at Oldham College before becoming joint course leader and lecturer for counselling degrees at Salford University. Currently, I work part-time for Liverpool University in their counselling service, and in private practice. I trained in Gestalt at Manchester Gestalt Centre and at the Metanoia Institute (London). I provide Gestalt themed workshops for counsellors and trainees. I’m Irish, have two teenage sons and a spaniel (Daisy). I’m a David Bowie fan, and a Man Utd supporter (don’t tell anyone in Liverpool). In my spare time I do some amateur acting.
